In the spirit of Zero Waste Christmas, let’s make some natural gifts for family and friends! Who wouldn’t love to receive a great sugar scrub, lip balm or essential oil blend? Ok, I might be a little biased because I LOVE all-natural gifts. But any hippie, crunchy family member will also love a natural gift for Christmas this year.
Not to mention, making your own gifts cuts down on packaging waste, saves you a trip to the store and gives you some crafty time. And most of these ideas only include ingredients that you probably already have in the house, so it’s a money saver! Making a gift for someone, instead of simply buying them something, takes time and thought. I think it portrays our love for those in our lives more clearly than a purchased gift. So, let’s put some love, time and attention back into Christmas with homemade gifts.
